i love Luongo as much as any Canuck fan. Sadly it is just an abusive relationship with the city that cannot be fixed at this point. Best fort everyone to just move on.
I wish it wasn't true, but the guy is not great in big pressure moments. and as great as he is from November to april, he has a long history of stumbling when it really matters. On other teams that the goal isn't win the cup or bust, he will be much better |

I think he'll be better once the pressure is off of him. ON the right team with the right coaches and teammates I think he could win it all. I'm not a fan but I think the right situation could be beneficial.

Luongo is a great goalie and will always give you the same splits. (<2.5 gaa and >.920svp) which is outstandings for any team that gets him
Luongo has been treated pretty horribly from the Canucks IMO
Think about it. The Canucks give him a contract for life, annoint him as their franchise player, then 2 years ago he is their captain, actual captain with the C. then gets stripped, brings them to cup finals, where his team scores what 8 goals in 7 games????
Then the crowd annoints Schneider as their savior and he really didn't have a fighting chance |

he is still a great goalie, the contract isnt that bad only a cap hit of 5.3mil and when he is 38 years old and cant preform he will retire or you cant put him in the AHL. a team well geat a good goalie here and it wont take a whole lot to get him! |
